The main inspiration behind my outfit is the song «Thunder» written by Imagine Dragons. The song is imbued with a fighting rebellious spirit, with aspirations to change your life to achieve something great, with a desire to make your way in life breaking stereotypes and not following the crowd.
I think the most appropriate colours for such a rebel look are black and burgundy that help to express the spirit of contradictions of rebels and to show the determination to change your life. And I suppose it would not be amiss to add pieces with such details as studs, clasps, zippers and lacing – these a bit rocky details give your look a touch of confidence.
So I’ve chosen a comfy yet chic pair of burgundy skinny jeans by Tally Weijl, and I’ve complemented it with quite a simple wine-red cami by Hallhuber and with a pretty cute black top with holes and three quarter sleeves. And above I’ve added a really cool black lace-up leather jacket by Bebe.
To complete this look I’ve used a pair of black ankle boots with studs and clasps by Geox. This pair of boots is super adorable, really comfy, and I feel confident in it. And I’ve paired my boots with a roomy black backpack by Moschino and a delicate monochrome silk scarf. This scarf adds a soft touch to this look. And as a final touch I’ve chosen a delicate pair of earrings.
Using such allegedly incompatible pieces I accentuated the passionate yet controversial nature of rebels who are full of courage to turn things around.
I hope that my outfit ideas will inspire you to create some interesting winter looks.
